On paper, we’ve just hit 5 years old but in reality, we’ve grown so much further with initial years that started things up. We’ve putting in effort to progress by asking difficult questions, taking new approaches and perspectives, and work in collaborations. We are grateful to the government institutions, universities, private companies, NGOs, fellow researchers, and communities who have shared their expertise and collaborated with us along the way.

Celebrating this year’s anniversary, we spent the day leveling up training on enhancing impact and synergy in our daily activities. Again collaborating with Mindventure, we learned about understanding the cause and story to create a better impact in our work and everything we do. With strong emphasis in empathy, we gain insight to create a meaningful action together for a more equitable, inclusive, and sustainable future.

Five years is an important milestone, but it is also a starting point for the work ahead. We look forward to strengthening partnerships, exploring new ideas, and developing research that helps shape better policies, practices, and possibilities for the future.

Of course, we also cut cake! With Jamrud’s iconic birthday song, mistakenly taken for Netral Band. A little inside joke for our various generation team members.

To everyone who has been part of our journey, thank you for growing with us.

Happy 5th birthday, CEST!
